Quick Update Open Thread

Here is a quick update on what's been going on the past few days.

cmpaz has a good read about that blowhard J.D. and his war against the New York Times.

From AZ Congress Watch, Harry Mitchell has a press release showing the close similarities between J.D. Hayworth and defeated UT-03 Congressional candidate John Jacobs. Mitchell calls it a "referendum on hard-line immigration candidates.

Hayworth and Mitchell traded strong words over immigration the last few days. It started with Harry Mitchell's op-ed piece in the Arizona Republic. Hayworth's camp fired back by claiming Mitchell was adopting Hayworth's positions, but otherwise is an amnesty-giving liberal. Whatever. Mitchell wasted no time in saying Hayworth is grandstanding while this issue continues to go on unsolved. Go get 'em, Harry!

Tomorrow is the end of the quarter for fundraising! If you can give anything, even $10, do it NOW! Support Harry Mitchell!

I'll be going out of town tonight, visiting some family in South Dakota. I'll be back on June 6, so have an awesome Fourth of July everybody!
